In 2012 Alpine community members came together to form Alpine Cross Country Ski Association (ACCSA). Their desire was to create a XC trail network on the Palisades lakebed. Free to users and open to skate, classic, fat bike, snowshoers, and dogs. Eight years later, 2020, ACCSA is now transitioning into Alpine Trails and Pathways (ATaP). ATaP will continue winter grooming, but will now add summer trail and pathway programs making a year round advocacy and action, non-motorized trail and pathway focused organization.
