Hello ATaP Winter Trail users,
We are finalizing our Winter 2022 Trail Map and have a few spots left. This year’s Lakebed Trail System will be a little different from years past, with a focused 5k, 3k, and 1k loop. The map brochure will be the same high-quality printing showing off your business. Maps will be delivered to business sponsor locations, Town of Alpine (ToA) Visitor Center, ToA Town Hall, ToA Library, ToA Post Office, the Lakebed Trail Head Kiosk, and posted on https://www.alpinetap.org/winter-programs.html. You still have the same size and placement choices of $150, $350, $550, and Title Sponsor of $900-. There is only one Title Sponsor per season. Title sponsorship gives you top billing on all our advertising, “full-page” add on the back of our trail map, and a digital add on https://www.alpinetap.org/winter-programs.html. If you would like your business advertised on our winter 2022 trail map, reach out to us before Wednesday email [email protected] Campaign kick Off for Alpine Sports ParkOver the last 10 years, the Town of Alpine has seen a growth rate of 47%. More if you include all of North Star Valley. It is time that our recreational spaces catch up with all of that growth. Families and individuals alike are looking for ways to stay in town, wanting to enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces. Knowing that, The Town of Alpine, Alpine Trails and Pathways (ATAP) and the Alpine Recreation Board have come together to create a new and improved sports park. The "Alpine Sports Park" will expand the already popular skate park and pump track, and will include construction of a new and improved ice rink, permanent toilets, new landscaping, the addition of climbing boulders and a sand volleyball court for future use. In order to create an amazing park, we need your help. Our Capital goal is $1.2 Million dollars. This will give us the funds needed for the creation of the new park AND help with future maintenance. In order to make these changes happen we need your help! That help can be in the form of financial donations (no amount is too small!), business sponsorships, or volunteer hours. Tax deductible Donations can be made to Town of Alpine referencing the Sports Park or Alpine Trails and Pathways (ATAP). Check out ATAP's Venmo on their website @ www.alpinetap.org/donate. When possible, we’ll need your muscle. Similar to the Ferry Peak Park, we want this to be a community involved project. We'll plan build days that will involve everyone's help. Alpine may have grown a lot in the last 10 years, but we’re still a small community that relies on grassroots involvement to make local projects succeed. Come by Melvin Brewing this Saturday Oct 2, for Fall Festival and the unveiling of the new Alpine Sports Park. See You at Melvin Brewing! If you want to help financially, visit our Donate Page or email us for tax deductible instructions. This weeks hiking trail should give you a great workout, climbing almost 2000', with incredible views and wildflowers. Whatever you do, make sure to get out this weekend as it's usually less busy as people are still recovering from the 4th. As always, remember to wave and say hi to other users.
